We are looking for a Visitor Experience Officer to work at RSPB Conwy, who will help ensure our visitors, both young and old, enjoy a first class experience.
You will work with the Visitor Experience Manager to develop an exciting and inspiring programme of income generating events and trails that help connect the reserve’s visitors to nature. As RSPB Conwy is one of the RSPB’s top 10 family reserves, much of your work will focus on the family audience.You will help to recruit and manage a team of visitor experience volunteers. You will support the ongoing development of making the whole visitor experience at this reserve one of the best.
You will encourage support for the RSPB’s work by promoting both the importance of membership and the benefits it provides to our new members and nature alike.

RSPB Conwy is a fantastic nature reserve and a wonderful place for nature and people and this is a fantastic opportunity to help create a stunning visitor experience and connect people to nature and the environment.

Due to the nature of the work we will need successful candidates to be flexible as there may be the need to work more hours during the school holidays and weekends, and less at other times. Fluency in speaking Welsh is desirable in the role.


Starting at – £17,276 to £18,715 per annum pro rata

Hours & contract information

Hours: Part time, 15 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
